Day Care
Services Day care provides your dog with the opportunity to interact and socialize with other dogs during a full-day of play time while supervised by our loving staff. Dogs are divided into compatible play groups for outdoor activities. Indoor rooms are used when weather conditions prohibit outdoor play time. Special care and attention are given to puppies and older dogs, as well as those with special needs. Your dog’s day with is will include morning and
afternoon play sessions of at least 3-hours each, and Optional Items to Bring: A Snack – in a small container marked with your dog’s name. A favorite toy Bedding for nap time Day Care Requirements: Appointments are appreciated. Recurring appointments are available. An application and signed waiver must be completed. An emergency contact number must be provided for yourself or someone authorized to act on your behalf A current vaccination record is required. All dogs must have current DHLPP, Bordatella, and Rabies vaccinations. Puppies over 41/2 months old must have their 2nd set of vaccinations. Dogs 6 months and older must be spayed or neutered. Dogs must be in good health; no stitches or bandages allowed. Dogs must have a collar and leash with names marked on both. All dogs must have flea protection; flea collars are not to be worn during stay. Boarding
Services Whether it’s one night, a week or longer, your dog will be provided with a safe, happy, and well-supervised environment at Stay-`N-Play. Days are spent in play groups with other dogs in our outdoor yards and/or our indoor activity rooms supervised by our attendants. Daily Schedule: The boarding schedule is the same as the day care, but also includes early morning potty break, breakfast and/or dinner, evening play time after dinner and a potty break before bed. Items to Bring: Food – enough for the length of your dog’s visit, either individually bagged per meal or loose. If we must purchase food for your pet, you will be charged the cost of the food plus $5. Feeding bowls are not necessary. Snacks – no rawhide please Required Medications – clearly labeled with your dog’s name, drug name, and dosage. Optional Items to Bring: A favorite toy Bedding- bedding is provided but you may bring your own if you wish. Boarding Requirements: Boarding Requirements are the same as those for Day Care PLUS: Advanced Reservations are required All dogs must spend at least one day in day care prior to boarding to insure their happiness in a day care setting and their ability to get along with other dogs. This time may reduce your dog’s stress as they become familiar with us and our facility. A phone number of an in-town emergency contact authorized to act on your behalf must be provided. Rates One Dog $25/night Each additional dog $20/night Rates include all activities outlined under the daily schedule for boarding plus bedding at night. Rates are based on a 24-hour period beginning at check-in time. When check-out time exceeds 24 hours, a rate of $2.50/hour is applied to a maximum of $18 per day. Guests may check in or out anytime during our regular business hours. The minimum for overnight is $25. Rates are not pro-rated. Office Hours Monday-Friday Saturday
Sunday
Sunday hours are for boarding pick up or drop off only. Alternate times available on Sunday by appointment only. The office is closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Staff is on the premises on the Holidays to attend to boarding dogs. Grooming
Services Our professional grooming staff offers full-service, quality grooming at competitive prices. We use the finest all-natural, non-toxic grooming products by Nature’s Specialists. All dogs receive a thorough brushing before and after their bath, plus ears are cleaned, hair around and between pads is trimmed, nails are trimmed and filed, anal glands are expressed, and sanitary areas are trimmed. Dogs are clipped or hand-scissored according to breed specifications or owner’s request. Extras include teeth brushing, flea treatment, re-moisturizing, de-matting, special scissoring, and toe-nail painting, We offer several techniques that reduce shedding dramatically by removing dead or excess hair and undercoat without clipping. Special consideration is given to puppies, older dogs, or those with skin conditions. Regular appointments will help us make grooming an enjoyable and positive experience for your dog.
